Department of Education established in the year 2000, has aimed to be a centre of excellence in teacher education. At present it offers M.Ed., B.Ed., B.P.Ed, and D.EL.Ed. (BTC) courses. Besides developing proficiency in content and competency in teaching it also emphasizes on developing professional ethics in student teachers so that our teachers can face problems both at personal and professional levels and help in the development of society.
